The Teen Timers Spring Dance will be held on Friday April 24th in the Lyncourt School gymnasium. All Teen Timers members (must be a Lyncourt resident) are welcome to attend. This will be the last Teen Timers event for the 2008-2009 school year, so please come and join us for some music, dancing and refreshments.
Lyncourt Recreation will be holding its roller skating party on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 7:00-9:30pm in the Lyncourt School gym. All Lyncourt residents in Pre-K and older are invited to attend. The cost of admission is $3.50 and includes skate rental. Rental skates must be worn-personal skates are not allowed. All children in 3rd grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult or they will not be allowed in. For more information, please contact Bob Licata at 463-8340.
The LYRB Awards Ceremony for the 2008-2009 season will be held on Thursday March 19, 2009 in the Lyncourt School Auditorium. the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm. All participants, parents and coaches are encouraged to attend and be recognized for their efforts this season. Awards and certificates will be presented.
Registration will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in the Lyncourt School gym for any men 18 years of age or older who are interested in playing basketball recreationally on Tuesday nights. For $30 ($35 for non residents) Lyncourt residents can participate in pickup basketball from 8-10pm on Tuesday nights throughout the fall. The program will run on the following ten nights:

On Friday October 3rd, Teen Timers will be taking a field trip to Big Don’s Wild River Mini Golf in Cicero. The cost is $10 and includes bus transportation, miniature golf, rock climbing wall and maze. Space is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please reserve your spot by September 26th, 2008.
Check-in time is 6:15pm and the bus will be leaving at 6:30pm sharp. The bus will return to Lyncourt School at 9:15pm. Parents: please be there to meet the bus at that time. All children must travel both ways on the bus.
The field trip is open to current Teen Timers members only and will be held, rain or shine so dress for the weather. No refunds will be given.

LYRB is holding its annual player evaluation and draft on the following nights:
Please be sure to attend the appropriate night to ensure that you’re placed on a team.
Player drafts will be held immediately after the evaluations. Only head coaches or those drafting a team are required to stay for the drafts. Assistant coaches will be assigned to the team to which their child is drafted. Each player will be called by his/her coach within the next couple days regarding practice days and times.

Lyncourt Youth Recreation Basketball (L.Y.R.B.) will be holding a fall basketball camp for students in grades 4-8. Both Lyncourt residents and non-residents are encouraged to sign up.
The camp will run on September 22-24, 29, & 30. Starting times are as follows:
Grades 2-4: 5-6pm Grades 5-6: 6-7pm Grades 7-8: 7-8pm
Registration fees are $10.00 for residents and $15.00 for non-residents. All fees are due at registration. Please bring proof of residency also, as it will be required to sign up. No refunds will be given once the camp has begun.
